Thoughts about The Season 2017

In an Interview for golfing.se, Sebastian gives his thoughts about the Season 2017.
“The season feels like a disappointment but now I know a little more and there is still a chance to get The ET-Card for 2018″…

… “I have had two nice tournaments the last four, five weeks but overall the season feels like a disappointment. I’ve missed too many cuts. I missed a few in a row with one stroke, it was a bit sour. If I made the cut, unfortunately I played too bad on the weekends. It’s really just in Portugal that I had a really good weekend where I climbed on the list, he says.
Yes, the end of the season was not bad at all. He tied 7 in Portugal and 23rd at Valderrama in Spain.
“It was important at the end to at least secure a place for next year so that I can play the full schedule on The Challenge Tour. There was some limit at the top 176, where I was not, so it was still required to play the best at the last tournaments and it feels good to have achieved that.”

“Getting the ET-Card through The Challengetour is much more worth than getting it through the Q-school. You get a much better opportunity to keep The Card or play to get The Card. You can participate in bigger and more tournaments. It may give a little more peace and quiet, a little less stress, but also the fact that you can actually play for more money.” (from the interview for golfing.se)

But there is still a chance that Sebastian will play on The European Tour 2018. If he does as he did last year – takes The Card through Q-school.
Second Stage is played 3-6 November on four courses in Spain. Sebastian will play at Desert Springs outside Almeria, with his brother Martin on the bag. The Final Stage is played the following week (see the facts below).
