Thick woods covered both sides of the fairway and hitting a driver was on most holes not an option. I think this was a perfect course to play right out of the gate because it really gave me a good appreciation for where my game is at. Now its time to head back home for some rest and practice. The season has finally started
Last week I played in the Hero Indian Open in New Delhi, first tournament golf I have played in three months. Thanks to a sponsors invitation I got to kick off the season a little sooner than planned.
I ended up finishing 58th, the goal before the tournament was to make the cut so looking back at it I would have to say I´m pleased with the way I played in my first start of the year. I struggled a little over the weekend shooting 74-74 which left me a little disappointed. The course was extremely narrow and every mistake off the tee usually ended up in a lost shot, so it was a very tough test to begin the year with.
