This week, on one of his “home” courses, (Hills Golf and Sports club) Sebastian had a super Sunday, with a 63 round (-7). His finish with 5 birdies on his 9 last holes made the big crowd following him go crazy.

Midsummer Eve with a hot putter

Challenge Tour 2018: Sebastian missed only three cuts in 19 starts and never carded a round higher than 74 as he notched nine top 20s, six top tens, two runner-up finishes and, most memorably, a win at the Italian Challenge in July. (europeantour.com)
Sebastian’s first entry on the European Tour in 2019 will be in Abu Dhabi on January 16th. That will also be his first start in a Rolex Series Tournament.Show more »

The goal for the year 2018 was to reach top 15 on the Challenge Tour ranking and become one of the graduates for European Tour 2019.

After a great week in London Sebastian, with his brother Jesper on the bag, finished T2 at Bridgestone Challenge which also gave him 2nd place on the Challenge Tour ranking. Nordea Masters 2018

When the tournament is played in your hometown you will, of course, be followed by a lot of friends, family and other fans. A big crowd came to see Sebastian and many of the other Swedes. Sebastian struggled a bit on Thursday, had a good Friday but still, he missed the cut, on the edge.

Winner Under Italy’s Sizzling Sun

After an extremely hot week with gruelling conditions on the final day, Sebastian was delighted to come out on top at the Italian Challenge.
“I played some nice golf today and it feels amazing to win,” he said in an interview Sunday afternoon. “It was a struggle to focus out there in the heat, which kind of helped because I was so focused on eating, drinking and walking with a wet towel. Playing “Barngolfen” for the 3rd time Sebastian was in the winning Team. He played with former world famous caddie Fanny Sunesson and employees from DC Wäst.

From Turkey to Portugal

Sebastian played well from tee to green in Belek 26-29 May. With a hot putter it could have been a great week, but that was not the case.
After a week with good training, he is now ready for Open de Portugal. Looking for a revenge on the greens.

Focus on The European Challenge Tour 2018

2017 Sebastian played mostly on The European Tour and got the lowest score on the Tour, a 61, at The Rocco Forte Open in Italy. That was also a new Course Record.
He ended the year with some well played tournaments but it was not enough to keep The Card.
2018 focus will be on The European Challenge Tour and the goal is of course the ET-Card for 2019.Show more »
A Great Moving Day!

-7, day 3, took him from T63 to T12 with a 64, the lowest score of the day. Finishing T7 is season best.
“Day 4 was quit miserable but I managed to do six, seven good up-and-downs and I even holed a wedge”.
