2018 Summary

January 6, 2019

Challenge Tour 2018: Sebastian missed only three cuts in 19 starts and never carded a round higher than 74 as he notched nine top 20s, six top tens, two runner-up finishes and, most memorably, a win at the Italian Challenge in July. (europeantour.com)

Sebastian’s first entry on the European Tour in 2019 will be in Abu Dhabi on January 16th. That will also be his first start in a Rolex Series Tournament.

European Tour 2019 – Mission Completed

November 3, 2018

The goal for the year 2018 was to reach top 15 on the Challenge Tour ranking and become one of the graduates for European Tour 2019.

With his brother Jesper on the bag for the Grand Finale, Sebastian secured the 5th place on the final ranking and can now start preparing for next season.

Second place

September 15, 2018

After a great week in London Sebastian, with his brother Jesper on the bag, finished T2 at Bridgestone Challenge which also gave him 2nd place on the Challenge Tour ranking. A season-low 63, in the first round, indicates that the game is where it should be as we’re getting closer to the Grand Finale on the road to Ras Al Khaimah.

After an extremely hot week with gruelling conditions on the final day, Sebastian was delighted to come out on top at the Italian Challenge.

“I played some nice golf today and it feels amazing to win,” he said in an interview Sunday afternoon. “It was a struggle to focus out there in the heat, which kind of helped because I was so focused on eating, drinking and walking with a wet towel. I only thought about what score I was on towards the end because I was so focused on getting in. (europeantour.com)

Sebastian played well from tee to green in Belek 26-29 May. With a hot putter it could have been a great week, but that was not the case.

After a week with good training, he is now ready for Open de Portugal. Looking for a revenge on the greens.
