A 6 days’ drama gave Sebastian the ET-card
After 6 long days on the ET Q-school Sebastian reached his overall goal for this season: a European Tour card for 2017.
It certainly started very tough. After two days Sebastian was on 105th place and top 25 looked far away. The Fat Lady started her journey to Girona, ready to sing after day 4.
Day 3 was a good step forward. Now it was reachable to make the cut after day 4, keeping the singing away.
Day 4 and 5 was excellent. Together with fellow Swede Pontus Widegren, and the final winner Nathan Kimsey, Sebastian performed the best score in the field and gave us hope that he could finish top 25. Following the live score reports day 6 all his fans were kept in tension until Sebastian’s last birdie on hole 18. Now that Fat Lady finally could start singing and now for joy.
Sebastian: ”After a rough couple of months I couldn’t be happier to pull through this week and get my tour card for next year. Huge congrats to my boys, Jens Fahrbring and Pontus Widegren, for making it as well”
